I began Weast Professional Painting, Ltd. in 2004.
I have over 15 years experience and I've also earned a BS degree from the University of Cincinnati. I am a small company catering to residential homeowners in the Cincinnati area. Based out of Loveland, I started this business because I felt confident I could provide a great service to many homeowners looking for a quality painter they could trust. In fact, I owe my success to the trust and appreciation of my many satisfied customers. Their positive referrals have allowed for my list of clients to increase each year and for my business to continue to grow. I value the relationships I develop with my customers and understand that without them, I would not be in business. Customer referrals are available upon request.
I take pride in the work I do and put emphasis on every aspect of the job. It's not just the painting itself, but everything from the prep work that is involved to the extra time it takes to leave the work area clean at the end of each day.
Surface preparation is as important to the overall life of a paint job as the paint you use. Poor preparation can result in peeling, delaminating, blistering, and other paint failures.
The extra time and effort spent on good surface preparation will pay you back in a job that will last for years to come. Without it, any coating applied will only fail in a matter of time. The quality and thoroughness of preparation will play a major roll in the long-tem success of the job.
The first step is to be sure the surface being painted is clean, free of dust, mold, mildew, grease, loose or peeling paint, etc. Exterior surfaces are pressure washed, loose and peeling paint is scraped off, surfaces are sanded, splitting joints and cracks are caulked, and any minor repairs are performed. Major repairs may require a specialist. One coat of primer is always applied followed by a finish coat of paint. Interior surfaces are scuff-sanded, dusted, joints are caulked, cracks and holes are patched, and any other necessary repairs are performed. New and repaired areas are primed, and two coats of finish paint are applied.
